|
The fonds consists of the papers of W.L. Phelps, a Yukon lawyer, relating to the estate of James Mason, known as Skookum Jim. Mason and his brother-in-law George Carmack made the discovery that started the Klondike Gold Rush.
Included are the wills of James and Daisy Mason, trust fund indentures for Daisy Mason, accounts of W.L. Phelps, affidavits and declarations.
