Scope and Content 

 

The collection consists of b&w copy negatives selected from an album of photographs accumulated by William Clay Wideman while he was in Whitehorse in 1943-1944.

The photographs depict a variety of Yukon scenes including Whitehorse; sternwheelers in the shipyards; Yukon residents; construction of the Canol Refinery; and sections of the Alaska Highway.
