Scope and Content |
|
This fonds consists of records of the Whitehorse Camp of the Arctic Brotherhood fraternal organization.
The records include a minute and cash book, membership applications, incoming and outgoing correspondence, financial records, constitution and by-laws, membership application forms, and a blank membership card.
The minute book begins with the installation of the Camp, its charter members, first officers, etc. and covers the application, nomination, and subsequent election of new members; financial matters - dues, bills, etc.; correspondence received and answered; and other internal business. The cash book and assorted financial records provide a relatively accurate picture of the Camp's financial situation.
