The files were moved to the Public Archives of Canada in Ottawa with other Central Registry files in 1959 and 1968, and were transferred from Ottawa to Yukon Archives in 1973. Unlike the Correspondence and miscellaneous files series, this series was not microfilmed while in Ottawa because it contained exempted records and other material not considered of national significance.
