This fonds consists of material collected by Dick North for his research on Jack London and his work with YHMA's 1992 Alaska Highway Family Album Project.
The textual records are about Jack London's ship 'Snark I': articles of agreement with sailors hired for a voyage from Sydney, Australia to Nouméa, New Caledonia (1911); and a stamped document issued by the British Consulate in Nouméa (1911).
The photographs are of a cat train and caribou.
