This series consists of records of the Yukon Gold Company (Y.G.C.) (later the Yukon Consolidated Gold Company) arising from their drilling and dredging operations in the Dawson - Forty Mile area, as well as Alaska sites: Greenstone Creek and Coal Creek.
Included are correspondence, legal documents, reports and feasibility studies of proposed dredging sites, and corresponding blue print drafts of dredge cuts and drill holes. Brief references are made to the Iditarod Power Plant, the Rock Creek Coal Mining Co., and McDonald's Bonanza (Klondike) Ltd. Other records include: report on the Forty Mile Mining District, 1913; gold assay advice notices signed for the Y.G.C. by various individuals including Grant Henderson, 1911-1912 (MSS 28 f13); Drill Prospecting Reports on Gold Bottom Creek, 1915 (MSS 28 f15); Wood Stave Pipe Detail, 1917 (MSS 28 f16); Old Gold Run Inventories, 1922 (MSS 28 f18); Hydraulics Production, 1906-1925 (MSS 28 f19); Dredge's Production, 1907-1924 (MSS 28 f20); Hydraulic Mine Equipment, 1925; and Records Stored in Northern Commercial Co.
